The first validation node
A validation node designed to establish the operating model
The proposed Western Cape validation node is intended to combine an initial GPU cluster, battery energy storage and interruptible compute within a controlled operating environment.
It is designed to establish technical performance, marketplace behaviour and energy-to-workload orchestration before repeatable modular expansion.
- Location
- Western Cape
- Capacity
- 100 kW of IT capacity
- Hardware
- Initial GPU cluster
- Stage
- Pre-development
Operating evidence
A controlled environment designed to be measured.
Four equally weighted outcomes. Together they convert the integrated architecture into measured operating evidence.
Power and storage
The operating behaviour of the proposed energy and battery configuration.
Infrastructure
The physical, thermal and operational requirements of the node.
Marketplace performance
Paid operating history, realised utilisation and pricing through an established compute marketplace.
Orchestration
How workload priority responds to power availability, battery state, thermal limits and workload value.
